There are certain Heywood-Wakefield items that transcend anything else in their unique design and really help define that which we call ‘mid-century.’ They seem to be coming out of HW from the early ’50’s to the early ’60’s. There is also some Heywood-Wakefield that is complete garbage as far as i’m concerned. This is fortunately one of the former items.
From the early ’50’s is this somewhat unusually toned step table from Heywood-Wakefield in the ‘Topaz’ color – a slightly browner take on the classic yellow birch look of their items from this era. I think it’s gorgeous and offer it here for you to enjoy as well. Legs are removable for somewhat easier transport.
