    Description

Made in Canada, it sports a serial number stamped on the back, 251175, suggesting a Lane furniture-like serial number and thus indicating it was made in Nov 1975.  But, as far as I know, Lane has never manufactured in Canada and this not the Lane it alludes to or that some think it is. That said, it’s a pretty frickin’ sweet dresser.  First it’s solidly built – it’s a bit of a tank.  Second the drawer-front design and craftsmanship of the drawers are top notch (European drawer slides that stop at the end are pretty nifty and somewhat rare for MCM furniture.). Frankly, I think it looks a lot better than most of the Brutalist designs out there and those rounded curved sides evoke atomic era. It’s in better than average shape with ware consistent of the age and a couple noticeable chips out of the veneer. Pictures and price reflective.
