Angel Pazmino Teak & Tooled Leather Chair & Ottoman

Description

Gorgeous gorgeous teak in unusual angular shapes make this a treasure. Then there is the fact that there are only a handful of South American mid-century designers of furniture who are well known at all, and one, not well known, from Ecuador, Angel Pazmino, who designed this chair, and you have a rare gem indeed.

This chair is stunning. The leather is minimally tooled with only a square border inset on the seat, back and ottoman surface. The leather is held by clips and the chair pieces are held in place, like a giant tinker toy, with teak pegs.

The teak is in excellent shape. Two pegs are missing from the ottoman and one of the chair pegs is a partial.

The ottoman has a couple water stains on the leather and there is also an approximate one inch tear to the leather at the edge on the ottoman. There is a faint water stain to the seat leather and two small stains on the backrest leather.

Seat height declines from front to back: 15.25” up front to 12.5” in back.

Ottoman is 25.5” wide with pegs, 17” deep and 14” high.

Chair is 25.5ʺW × 28ʺD × 29.5ʺH.

Just oh, so cool!
